Seminars

The George W. Woodruff School Graduate Thermal Science Seminars

The purpose of these seminars is to allow for a welcoming and engaging environment in which graduate students can learn and stay informed of the latest ground breaking thermal research happening at Georgia Tech. We give students the chance to display and demonstrate their research in a friendly environment.

During the Summer 2017 semester, these seminars are generally held bi-weekly starting on Thursday, June 15th  from 2:00 PM—3:00 PM in MRDC 3515; day, time and room is subject to change based on availability. Everyone is encouraged to join us after each seminar from 3:00PM—3:30PM to network, enjoy light refreshments, coffee and engage in thermal discussions!

The best way to stay informed about the seminars is to send an email requesting to be added to our email distribution list. Also, if you are interested in presenting at the seminar, please email the Heat Lab Research Coordinator Courtney Aiken directly. You can sign up to be a presenter here – Presenter Information.

Feel free to contact the Heat Lab Research Coordinator, Courtney Aiken, with any additional questions or concerns.

We hope that you will take the time to join us!
